  1. The name of the village I live in is Plovervale. It is situated in the Parish of Keelogues and the Barony of Carra. There are twelve houses in the village now. Two of them are galvanized, three slated and seven thatched. There were fourteen thatched houses in it long ago. Boyle is the name most common in it. The village got its name because there were a lot of plover in it long ago.
    There are four people in the village over seventy years of age. They can tell stories in English. There are two old houses in
