- 50. The oldest tombstones in the Killeen - the local graveyard are of the horizontal type and the inscriptions are undecipherable. In Kilmolara graveyard which is the burial place for many families in the parish there is a tombstone over the grave of a former parish priest. The inscription on this stone reads as follows:
Miserere Domine. Sacunsum Magnum Misericirdiam Tuam.
Animae Reverendic Thomae McCormac
Parocji Kilmolara at Ballinchollae
Qui Annis Meritisque Planus
Abdormivit in Domens
Ire [?] Vigessima Secunda Septembris
