Ancient Bread-making
The bread that is eaten now by the people is quite different to the bread that was eaten by ancient people.
Long ago, the people ground their own corn by the means of two big stone placed on upon the other. The bottom one was fixed on an axle, but the top one was made to turn round very quickly. There was a hole in the top stone. The dropped the corn down the hole and as it was falling it was turned into meal by the roughness of the stones. While this was going on, they kept twisting a lever which made the stone twist around quickly. The ground all their corn in(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
