    Patrick Hopkins of Larganboy who is in his grave today was a famous mower in this district.
    My father took out oats after him one day and he said besides being a quick mower he was a neat man with his job. He covered at least five roods of ground that day, and it would take a good taker-out to keep out of his way.
    Mr. Delaney from Island was a great dancer. Patrick Curry from Knock was a dancing master. There used be pipers playing on Sunday evenings at each crossroads. One of the pipers was named Piper Gorman.
