  1. It is believed that if a man is going on a journey and if he see a woman coming towards him he will turn back until he sees a man coming towards him and then he will have luck.
    If a person is going on business and if he meets a red haired woman he will have bad luck.
    If a person is going to a certain place and if he gets a pin lost he will have luck for that day.
    When a man goes into a house and if the people of the house are making a churning the man would help them because the people of the house might think that he was stealing the butter. As a safeguard against this the woman of the house puts a grain of ashes under the churn
    It is believed if a person enters a house it is considered to be unlucky to go out the opposite door.
    It is also believe to be unlucky to take a coal out of a house where there is a sick person.
    If a person dies in a house it is lucky to keep the [-] door that was opened when the person died opened until the funeral is over.
    When a funeral is passing by a house the door should be kept shut.
