    Long ago when a person died all the people of the village gathered to mourn the dead person...

    (continued from previous page)
    There were always noted mourners asked to the house to cry for the dead. These mourners were always by the bedside throughout the night, crying and lamenting the dead person and singing songs (of praise) through their cries in praise of him or her.
    These mourners were always dressed in black and walked behind the hearse to the chapel and graveyard crying all the time.
