- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)a pot of gold. Once on a November night a cobbler went out in search of him and he found him mending shoes as usual. He caught hold of him and asked for his treasure and the leipreachán said to him to go and dig at the track in his own garden the next day and there he would find his treasure. The man did so and he found a little box in a hole and opened it and in it there were a pincers, an aul, and a hammer and at the bottom of all there was a piece of paper and on which was written: "Mind your work and do not let any day pass without doing some and then you will make your money and get rich." So the man was well satisfied.
