  1. Pat McNulty who lived in Aughaliska long ago, was the best singer for miles around. His great-grand children are at school every day now. His favourite songs were "Patrick in the Boat" "Who fears to speak of 98" "The Old Plaid Shawl" and "The Stone Outside Dan Murphy's Door." He had also a number of Irish songs, which he was very fond of singing. He used to be invited to weddings and his songs were always greeted with great clapping of hands, and calls for another song.
