In the '70's an O'Dows, a grandson of Tadg, visited Bonniconlon.
He was in the Indian Civil Service and returned to leave his sons at school in England.
He then crossed to Ireland and came as far as Bonniconlon where he visited some old retainers of his family called Tuohy.
One thing he told them was that he had brought a cow all the way from India to supply his family with milk during the voyage.
He returned to India after a short stay.
