    Little Christmas falls on the first day of January. People light candles on that night. Everyone makes a great feast of it.

  2. Christmas Day 25th December -
    Christmas was in the old days the big feast of the year. All absent ones endeavoured to be at home on Christmas Eve and those who did not return wrote to their parents to buy Xmas.
    The photographs of the absent ones were place on the supper table and it was an unwritten law that all families kept to their own homes on that night visitors were looked
