“About eighty years ago my great-grand father in his day used to cut his turf in the Rathoma bog.”

When he left the creel of turf at home and returned with the spade to did where he had the pipe stick, to his great surprise, the whole was covered with exactly the same sort of a pipe. So that is how my great-grandfather was tricked out of his pot of money.
