He did this three times and each time he brought him out farther but the seal came back every night, but the fourth time he brought away the seal he burned out his two eyes, and brought him out far in the sea, and when the threw him out into the sea they returned home not expecting to see him any more but when the people got up next morning they found the seal lying dead beside the fire and they always had luck in their stock after that.
