- A long time ago there lived a widow woman and she had three daughters. They lived in a small house. There was a garden of cabbage at the front of the house and potatoes at the back.One day the widow noticed that some of the top of cabbage was eaten and she called the eldest of the daughters and showed her: "I will watch tonight" said the daughter. That night the eldest daughter got a pounder and went to where the cabbage was. She hid under a bush so that no one would see her.
