- There is an old custom still held: when a corpse would be leaving the house, all the chairs and stools are turned down. The old people would not like to dig a grave on Monday. Long ago the people had cures. There is an old cure still for "ringworm" and it cannot be cured by a person that has the cure. When a child is born it gets the cure: A worm is put to the child's left hand.
