People had querns and they used to grind their own corn.The different kinds of bread made was barley-bread, potato-bread and griddle-bread.Boxty bread was made from potatoes. They were washed and scraped on a tin. This was baked with flour on a pan.Potatoe-bread was made with potatoes. They were boiled & peeled & pounded on a table and then baked in a pan.Griddle-bread was baked by a fire leading against a kettle or other such article.Bread was made everyday as nowadays.
