    Long ago in the parish of Glendine there lived a man named Keily.

    of Mr Guarde, probably when he saw how dangerous it was.
    As a result of the race a song in praise of the horse was made. The following is the only verse which I could collect. I think it was the chorus of the song.

    As can be seen from above O Boy was the name of Mr Guardes horse.
