- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)One of Mr. Kirwans workmen was sleeping in one of the out houses on the farm when suddenly he heard as he thought the sound of a horse and car coming into the yard. He wondered who it could be at such a late hour so he got up to see. When he looked out he saw a funeral with the hearse and coffin passing along the road going towards the old church.
On another night three men were minding a sow, that was going to have bonhams, for Mr. Kirwan. One of the men was deaf. It was about midnight when they heard three stokes of a bell ringing like a funeral bell. Only two of them heard it the deaf man who was deaf all his life heard it.
There is monastery in Killure which is now in ruins. It appeared in one night. It was not there when the people(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
