    built and the ruins of the well cleared away.
    The name of this well was Coakely's well. The old people living around there often got their required water from this well as it was clean and fresh. A man named Coakely it is said lived opposite this well and it was called after him.
    That is all that is known about this well as it is fairly ancient.
    Got this story from Miss Cash, 4 Ard Brú Rd, Dalkey Hill.
    She is about 70 years of age. Edward Luby 7th Std.
