- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)On the 19th July, 1891 after late Mass eight men namely, Patrick Brogan, Robert Brogan, James Brogan, Harvey, Hogan, McGonigle, Kelly, and GriffIn, left Donegal Quay on a pleasure trip. They sailed about for a time and rowed up the Mullinasole Channel and went ashore there. In the evening when they were ready to go home, Kelly and Griffin who wished to partake of the hospitality of the house a little longer refused to go with their companions. The others pushed the boat off the shore, and sailed towards the Coastgaurd station in the townland of Ballyweel. A squall struck them as they were passing a gap in the Green Islands. The main sail was fastened and before any of them could loosen it the boat was blown over and all hands flung into the sea. Some could swim and of these two made for the Spinker, the name of a boat that was wrecked near the shore, They(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
