In this parish the English language is usually spoken. But among the mountains and the bogs the Irish is still the everyday language. In the vicinity of Frosses the Irish died (died) at least a century ago, as the old people of the district haven't any Irish atall. But at present the school children are learning our native language and in the years to come we hope to be once again fluent Irish speakers.
