Brian asked him what kind of a plase had he in the other world. He said that he had a good shelter under the wee bridge but in wet weather the rain drops fall on him. The old man on the hill thinking Brian was delaying too long shouted at the top of his voice "Brian, what is keeping you." He got no answer and the next should was. "what the devil is keeping you," and with that the dead man started to laugh and he told Brian to lift a handful of sand and give it to him and that was the bands broken.
