One night Maol Morough watched until he saw Eileen's man coming to see her. Then Maol knew the time he came at every night in his boat. The next day Maol Morrough locked his daughter up on the highest room in the castle and at night he went out at the same time as the night before and sure enough Eileen's man was coming. Then Maol Morrough got his gun and hid in a place where Eileen's man could not see him.
When the man was close enough (far) to Maol Morrough he shot him. Eileen in the castle heard the shot and ran to the window. When she looked out she saw the man she had loved lying dead. Then Eileen said to herself, how can I live without the man I love but she did not wait on another thought, she on that moment jumped down from the castle and was killed. After that Maol Morrough saw Eileen and her man's ghosts sailing up and down past the castle.
