It is then it is at its best."The cat washes her face before rain. The dog eats grass and drinks a lot of water and he does not meat when there is rain coming. When we hear a donkey roaring we may expect rain.
When the sea-gulls fly inland and make a great noise we may be sure the weather will be bad.

It's a bad sign of the weather when you're on the land.
