There are many different parts on a churn. the lid, the dash and the bottom. Some poeple have an end over end churn. This is one that has a handle which you turn round and round to make the milk churn. Out churn is a dash churn.
Before you begin to churn you must wash and rinse the churn with boiling water. Then you put the milk, which is thick and sour into it. You put in the dash next and pull it up and down to make it churn. Sometimes my mother puts in(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
