- The Owenbuoy Fairy House
Long, long ago, when fairies lived in Ireland, there lived in a little stone house in Owenbuoy two fairy women whose names we do not know. These fairy women had a little fairy shop.
One day the fairies went into the shop to buy goods. When they went in, an argument arose and one of the fairy women tumbled the shop. The fairies followed her but she had disapeared, and was never seen again. This house is ever afterwards known as "Fairy House"
