- Long ago when houses were built in Baim.
Baim is a mountain on the north of Drumfries School.
Two brothers named William and John Fullerton lived in one of these Baim houses.
One very windy night the brothers came in from a ceilidhe in a neighbours house. They lay in a kitchen bed and soon were fast asleep.
As the night wore on it got more and more windy. One of the brothers were wakened by a fearfull gust of wind.
He saw an old woman sitting by the fire. He grew afraid. After awhile he heard her muttering "Ha! the Saldanna's down."
