    squares.
Boxes were made ready for these squares of clay. Some boxes contained four squares - some six and others eight.
Each square cutting of clay was placed in a square compartment in the box.
The boxes were three feet deep, and the bottom of each was (attached) a very thin piece of wood. The bottom was attached to the sides by a small wire.
There boxes containing the blocks of clay were placed on a high bunk to dry in the sun.
When the top squares were dry the boards were taken from the bottom, and put on top, and the under side was turned up. There was a deep trench in the ground, and whenever the bricks were dry they were put into it.
When the required quantity was made they were carried away.
