    tells also about a fort. The shape of the fort is round. There are supposed to be Danes buried there. Long ago this fort used to be a graveyard for Danes. It is about a quarter of a mile from the cave. It used to be called a sitteroon. There is a high hedge around this fort with a small slap to get in.
    This manuscript was kept by an old woman in Ballyliffen. A long time ago a priest came to see it. He would not believe in this manuscript. Then the priest asked the woman what difference was there between him and any other person. She said surely you were born odd. The priest said "how (was) am I born odd". The woman said give me the hour, day, date you were born on and I will tell you how you were born
