I got these old cures from some of the old people in the neighbourhood
Carroway seeds were used for reviving stomach disorders and children's ailments.
Bogbean was very valuable for rheumatism and skin diseases.
Blackberry leaves were used for diarrhorea and looseness of the bowls.
White paint was put on the "Evil" so as to keep out the air.
The dandelion is a cure for a cow that does not come to her milk after calving.
The broom is a good remedy for bad circulation of the blood.
Clover tops when boiled is a good remedy for a cough.
Blue clay is a good remedy for a sprain.
Cold-feet is good for asthma and also for gas in the stomach
Cradan roots are good for cleaning the blood.
Squrvey-grass is good for boils
Cran comthrea when boiled is good for a hurt. It is used often for cattle(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
