Story 14
“Some people still believe in ghosts and fairies.”
Told by Mr McKeague, farmer, Culdaff. Was born and reared here, and is about 45 years of age. Some people still believe in ghosts and fairies.
Once upon a time there was a room in a certain house. It was called "the green room", because the door was made of green glass. Every person who went into this room, dropped dead, as soon as he or she stepped inside. Some person would go into this room, and others would watch at the windows to see what would happen. But as soon as the person stepped across the threshold, he dropped dead. Some people say that there was an evil spirit in the house.- Faisnéiseoir
