    There is a cure in the water of Malin Well for sprains and rheumatism.
    There is a cure for the mumps by creeping under a donkey three times and each time they crept out they say "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost."
    There is another cure for the mumps and it is by putting a pair of branks on the person who has the mumps and lead them to a stream and make them take three drinks of water "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. The person who leads the diseased person to the stream must have the same surname otherwise they will not be cured.
