Howth - A Storm.An easterly gale struck the east coast of Ireland about 25 years ago which damaged the "Light house" and all the stores on the east pier, these belonged to the "Board of Works". This happened in the time of the haddock fishing. The brook which flows through the town to the harbour flowed over, and many houses were flooded.Mr J. Redmond,
