- Cures
In olden times the people of my district where I lived up to about a year ago did not believe in doctors and they always used herbs and other things as cures for their ailments. The name of the district was Rosslare Harbour and that is the district I am going to talk about in this composit-ion.
It is generally believed that if the milk of a dandelion is applied to warts they will eventually disapear. It is also believed that if a person gets a sting and rubs a docken leaf to it, it will cure the pain.
If goosemer is rubbed to stiffness completely Oil was supposed to be a cure for rheumat-ism.
I got this information from my daddy
