There are several logs in which there are hidden treasures or pots and bags of gold, and firkins of butter and bowls of tallow, which were supposed to be buried by the Danes at some or some other race of people long ago
The people long ago used to pack butter and tallow in bowls and firkins and butter dishes and "ciálers", and when they could not find them and did not need them anymore and so they remain in the earth, ever to the present day.
