It is not known how long the graveyard is in use but Mass was said there in 1777 A.D. In the graveyard stand the ruins of an old church - 3 walls standing N.S.W. The walls are very curiously built and seem to be done at different periods. In the northern wall the stones are small and closely set; in the southern wall they are big. The length is 21 steps breadth 18'
Walls are nearly 3' thick. There is a large stone probably the one in western gable which was brought from Seefin (near Hollymount) - time unknown. The building was probably repaired or added to at(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
