    the sign of a fine day. The lark flying high in the air or when smoke goes up in a straight line is the sign of fine weather. When the sun shines after a shower of rain it is the sign of another shower. Seagulls fly inland when there is going to be a storm. The swallows flying low is the sign of bad weather. When bad weather is approaching the siugans do be very busy in the top of walls and on the ground. The cuileogs are also very busy flying around when bad weather is coming. When soot falls from chimneys or when the floor of a bacon shop is damp is the sign of rain. When one would see a cat lying near a cat or when one would see dust flying from the road it is the sign of bad weather.
