    wheels. Most of the people in this district had spinning wheels long ago but very few people have them now. When the people knit stockings for girls they generally colour them. Some people only wash the wollen thread before they begin to knit so that it will have a white colour. The men wear coats made of white flannel on the week days and this kind of a coat is called a 'báiní". They wear frieze trousers and woollen under pants and linen shirts. The people generally buy the shirts for the men. The women wear cotton aprons, dresses, petticoats, corsets, chemises and knickers. The women generally make their own aprons, petticoats
