The famalies were Brans and Keanes. The Bran family went to live in a tiny house down at the Quay but the Keans had to take their meals on the street and sleep in an old hut until some of the people fixed up a house for them. But the Keane family wanted to have revenge on the Land Lord so one day when he was passing down the woman ran out and nearly killed him with an iron bar. He never passed up passed the house since or he never interfered with the people.
