- We have tow cows, two big cattle, four younger ones and four like calves. We call the cows Gilligan and Sligo. In the cow house there is a manger for each animal, and the animals are tied by chains round their necks. The chains are nailed to posts. The home ties are made of straw and these are called "bri-dhawns".
