    This was butter melted with the thongs. The old-people had this with the potatoes.
    Turans:-
    This was oaten-meal steeped in water. It was left in a crock for three or four days. Then it got sour, and it was used for a drink.
    Caéa Pora:-
    This was oaten-cake cut into four farrel's and boiled in a pot witth meat.
    Neannrógí:-
    Long ago people ate nettles. They were boiled ina saucepan and then strained.
