    named Hoares. They were both blacksmiths and once a sheep was put in their cabin. They did not know who put it there. Next day they went to the forge and began to strike the anvil. A man came running and screaming up to the forge door. They then knew who put the sheep there.
    When you enter a forge always say 'God Bless the Work'. If you had teeth ache and to enter a forge and if you got a horse nail from the Blacksmith without asking for it, you would get cured.
    If a ghost was after you it could not pass a forge.
