Rhode Island red good layer delicate breed good table bird.It takes three weeks to hatch out and if hatched in June or July they are not much trouble. They are fed on oatmeal and any kind of mixed mash after that. They don't need much as they grow up there is no engine rubber put on so that they may easily grow. The duck is an unequatis bird like the goose but not as valuable as the hen. It lays sometimes during the year when the weather is soft. It takes four weeks to hatch out the young birds.
