Mary Melvin living with her blind father in Garrison in the Co. Fermanagh heard tell of the cure and she travelled ten miles to get it. She took the water from the well in a pail and forgot to cover it. When she was at Rossclogher she saw the waters following after her and she started to run. She ran on to Garrison, the water was still following her and getting exhausted she fell at Garrison. The waters flowed over her and drowned her.
