    derived from the profits of their little farm. They never rambled in their neighbours houses and always went to bed very early. They never bought a newspaper but were very fond of religious papers. Some of these latter are to be found in the house dating back about fifty years.
    The following is a true story told about one of them. At one time a travelling watch repairer called to the house of Pat Mc Sharrys of Stracomer to repair a watch. He told Pat that he wanted some copper for the job and Pat said he had none but
