   Then the boiling grease was poured into this mould. It was left to stand for twenty four hours until the grease was quite solid. Then the candle was fit for taking out of the mould. It was then loosened at the pointed end of the mould. This candle was then fit for use.

   Long ago in this district there were many lime-kilns, but there are only a few lime-kilns now. First of all the lime stones
