- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Then the hackler came and hackled the flax. The hackle was a wooden frame which contained three sets of hackle-pins. The first set was coarse, the second one medium and the third one was very fine.
Then the women spun it into yarn and later it was sent to "The bleach-green" to be bleached. The nearest bleach-green was at Glenboy near Manorhamilton.
