The above expression was first used during Cromwell's time in this area. A county man was passing by one of Cromwell's sentries.
He was challenged but his answers were satisfactory.
At that moment Cromwell appeared in the distance and the man asked the sentry for information regarding the identity of the well dressed soldier.
