    "Soidin" Some oatenmeal and sugar are put into a vessel and a quantity of hot (of) water is. It is allowed to stand for fifteen minutes. Then some milk added and it is eaten raw.
    Long ago the people used get up very early and of course they would be hungry before dinner time and they would eat soidin.
    "Leite Ban" This is made from oatenmeal and fresh milk and it is served the same way as "scailtin."
    It was usually sick people who used this kind of food because it was considered a light and nourishing kind of food.
