A linen sheet was put on one side and the drogged on the outsdie It was dyed a red colour and quilted with red woollen thread. The tongs used by the people was a bent black salley rod. They called it a Moduse. The fires were made of bog sgraws. Daub with a hole in it was used to hold a rush candle to show the people light while saying their prayers and going to bed. The pillows were made with calico filled with straw.
