    Prayer said going to Bed
    I looked up as I looked down,
    I saw the Blessed Virgin coming down
    Seven mass books in her hand,
    Seven bells ringing, seven priests singing
    Lord be the branch and Lady be the flower
    That she may be with us at our dying hour.
    Amen.

    All the above prayers my mother (RIP.) used to say. They have also been brought to me by the children and differ only in a word here and there. (P. Mac Giolla Choinnigh)
